Disney Princesses
Sunday I saw a pro hockey game at the United Center. Thursday night we returned to the United Center for a similar event (minus any hint of fighting) entitled “Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes Blah Blah Blah.” It was an exciting time:
-Ticketmaster granted my personal wish of sitting by the Most Annoying Family to Ever Attend Disney On Ice. This involved talking throughout the entire program, in very loud voices. The talking was an ongoing commentary involving highlights such as: “Oooh… there go Belle!” “Oooh… there go Jasmine!” “Oooh… that girl be light.” Mainly this showed the educational level of the 10 year old daughter. The two year old daughter just screamed the entire time: “Where Ar-elle?Where Ar-elle?”
- Other than the fact that there was no prospect of any fighting whatsoever, not even between the happy pirates of Prince Eric’s ship, the event was enjoyable. My two daughters were happy and excited to be there. The only downer to them was that Mommy does not subscribe to the idea of every princess’s dreams do come true. Because, no matter how hard you wish it, Mama still ain’t gonna plop down 12 bucks for a sno-cone in an Arielle cup.
