1. Read what I learned this week: Thanks, Mr Ashurbanipal! at our Carpe Libra blog.
2. Happy Birthday to My Mom. We enjoyed a dinner at TGI Friday’s and seeing the movie “The Queen.”
3. “The Queen” had to be the quietest movie I have ever seen. A combination of an older demographic in the audience, and the quiet quiet sound (partly the movie, partly the theater’s fault). That being said, I enjoyed the movie and thought it was a great character study.
4. Amazing Race: I am so glad the models stayed in – the two that got out tonight deserved it…

I meant to tell you — the movie was actually showing in the next theater. That’s why it was so quiet.

So who got the boot from Amazing race? I’m only kinda watching it, but I’ve seen enough to care about who goes and who stays.
