Me in Place

Mood: Sorry to disappoint, but it’s true.

Music: I am trying to work up a good playlist for my workouts on the treadmill. Today I listened to the iPod on ‘shuffle’ and heard some good candidates… but will have to work on it. Linkin Park’s “Closer to the Edge” is a high contender. What a great anthem for motherhood.

Update:

-I am going through and deleting a ton of emails from my “sent” box. I found one where I was talking about my then 3yo daughter… I had walked into the bathroom and found her with a whole wad of toilet paper in the toilet, and the rest of the roll unrolled all over the floor. She looked up at me and said, ” I have to get this cleaned up. It’s a long story.”

-We listed another item on eBay. We sell things off in order to buy new things. What new thing are we buying, you may ask? We are buying a patio!!! I am oh so excited. When I was little, I thought dining “al fresco” meant eating while you were naked. Now I understand what it really means, don’t worry! We have no patio, no deck, nowhere to put a table or a grill. So we’re looking forward to a summer of sitting outside.
