Me in Place

Mood: Remember? This picture is of Archie Goodwin, Nero Wolfe’s sidekick (if you still don’t know what I’m talking about, check out the Nero Wolfe series on DVD or read a couple of Rex Stout’s mysteries featuring Nero and Archie!)

Music: My iPod played some great upbeat music as I took my walk tonight.

Update:

-After going all May with no fries, you guessed it! We had fries for lunch from McDonald’s. Yum.

-Grilled again tonight. Steaks and baked potatoes. Not bad, not bad, if I do say so myself. Used brother Jeff’s potato guidance (take the potato, poke it full of holes with a fork, drizzle some olive oil all over it, add some rosemary, garlic and pepper and wrap the potato in foil. grill for an hour, turning once halfway through).

-During the dinnertime prayer, Mr Me ended with: “Thank you for our family, thank you for mommy making this meal. Amen” 3yo son added: “Thank you for Spiderman band-aids!”  It’s good to be thankful in all things, right?
