Thanks to our BFF at our local Chinese restaurant (we traditionally get Chinese takeout on Sunday nights as a reward for making it through another week and the lady who works the counter knows us well by now): here’s a fun site for lesson plans on teaching with money – social studies, math and science are a few of the subjects you can teach with a few coins in your pocket:
