SuperBoy Strikes Again

So, we got home today and I noticed my BFF Amazon.com had sent me an email saying my order had shipped. Hmm… I wondered, what order? The books I ordered this week had already arrived. So I checked my account and suddenly it dawns on me: SuperBoy ordered a book on Amazon.com! The little stinker snuck downstairs and clicked and clicked on buttons until he had ordered

The Good Husband of Zebra Drive by Alexander McCall Smith. Although it is the eighth installment in the  international bestselling series of books of the Ladies Detective Agency, I can’t see it as a book a three year old boy would really want to read. Torn between being angry and being impressed by his computer skills, I fortunately caught a glimpse of this picture, which makes my heart melt. See, everytime Daddy gets out the lawn mower, SuperBoy gets his lawn mower out and follows along – this erases all the orders placed, the food eaten (Ice cream and candy this week) and the diapers.

  1. So, it’s OK with you if I give your son a list of books I’d like?

  2. The pic is extremely sweet. And you have got to give him credit for the computer skills, thats hard to imagine he could do all that.

  3. I have one-click ordering set up, so in a way I can understand how he could do it – but still! He’d have to open up the amazon page, find a book, click on that 1-click thing…

  4. I hate to rat out my brother Steve, but it seems perhaps you are giving your son a bit too much credit. perhaps it’s “another source.”

  5. If he really did order that, WOW! How smart is he?? The picture is too cute – Todd had a Fisher Price bubble mower when he was approx. that age – blew bubbles as you walked – I ran it over with the car one day (accidentally) and he still to this day at age 24 remembers and gives me a guilt trip! So, look out when you back your car up! :-)
