The Three have started a new thing. It’s called “Question of the Day.” One (the 5yo) asks the question, and the other (the 7yo) does a trumpet fanfare. It goes something like this:

7yo: Da da da daaaaaa: Here is the Question of the Day!

5yo: What is a “ray beam?”

Or, (this has been a very exciting day in our house and has produced three QODs so far)

7yo: Da da da daaaaaaaaa: Here isssssss the Question of the Day! Well, really the Third Question of the Day!

5yo: What does it mean to be “scared out of my wits”?

7yo now informs me that the Very First QOD Ever was “What is a zombie?”

I thought it would be fun to keep track of the QODs for you – and if you ever have a super good answer to one of them, let me know! I thought the questions were going to be more along the lines of Why is the sky blue, mommy? That’s what they tell you back in Mommy School. (Shouldn’t there be a Mommy School?)
