Pantene-erific!
This morning I noticed we were out of my favorite shampoo. Actually, the only shampoo in the house – Pantene. It was snowing out and I was dragging my feet about actually getting in the car and going to Target. And when I – me! – am dragging my feet about going to Target, you know it’s bad. But after the snow subsided, SuperBoy and I got in the car and went to get all the things we’ve been running out of lately. But did I buy more shampoo? No. Why make it easy, right? We got home and I realized I had forgotten it.
But then, oh, what to my wondering eyes should appear? But two large – nay, Extra Extra Large – bottles of Pantene Shampoo and Pantene Conditioner hidden in a box in our closet. Oh, blessed father-in-law! Not only have you and your dearest wife taken my two girls to Camp Grandma for the rest of the week , but because of your thriftiness and plan-aheadedness, I have adequate shampoo to last ’til two thousand ought nine. (You do remember my October trip to Costco with my dear father-in-law, don’t you, readers? We’re down to about 16 rolls of t.p. now. ).
Proof:
Knowing you’re looking at those thinking, “Hm… okay, that doesn’t look like too much. What’s the big deal?” I thought it would help to show the shampoo in comparison to SpiderMan:
I know!! Isn’t Costco amazing?
*And it’s true, my in-laws took our two girls to their house for a few days. So SuperBoy and I are having Mommy/Kid time. He has been very industrious:
