Cubs
First, take a moment to remember our dear past Cubbie, Todd Walker.
We finally made it through the winter and today was the Home Opener for the Cubs (in case you hadn’t heard). I held a special dinner in honor of them and we groaned as they lost the first game of the season (did we expect anything different than that outcome?). But the kids were entertained and merrily joined in singing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” as we all gathered ’round the cupcakes.
Hm? What was that, Grandmother? Are those tattoos on my baby? Um… well… uh…
Mr Future Cub Himself. Loadin’ up on the carbs. Gotta get some energy.

I was thinking about youn’s as they went into OT…hoping for an outcome that would help your pain in the back feel better. Glad you were still able to enjoy. (Those cupcakes must have chocolate in them)

Yes, it was a long, sad day! Let’s hope it’s not the beginning of a long, sad season! Looks like you all had fun celebrating anyway!
