Me in Place

Time to get back to listing! Here are five books I’m reading right now:

1.
(Interesting concept: A lady who has spent her life looking for missing things finds herself missing…in a place called “Here.” Haven’t gotten far enough to figure out if she gets out of Here or not. Wish the fly buzzing me would get out of here.)

2.
(This book is taking me forever to get through. No reason why, other than I’m reading it from a used copy that must have been read by a college kid with too much caffeine is his system. Seriously, four colors of highlighting?? Relax, Kid, God will still love you even if you get a C. Trust me, I have experience in that.)

3.

(Hilarious book. I am not very familiar with Colbert, so some of it probably makes more sense to those who watch his show, but the book has been hilarious. Of course, everything’s funny to me after 11 pm. see below for why 11 pm and reading are related.)

4.

(A book on being hospitable. Are we still hospitable even if we called the cops after listening to a neighbor’s music until 2 am? These are the questions I wrestle with at… well, 12 am, 1 am, 2 am….)

5.

(Interesting book on the food culture in America. The only bad thing against it is that the font is so tiny, it’s hard to read at the end of the day. Which is the only time I really read. 11 pm. 12 am…neighbor’s music won’t stop… aaah)
