Emergen-C
I take a multi-vitamin everyday because I believe it will help me get the vitamins I need to keep me healthy.
I take two pills a day because I am fighting the high blood pressure that runs in the family and I need help to correct that.
When I feel sick I start overdosing on Vitamin C to get rid of the illness.
I had to ask myself this morning – how am I treating the Bible? Like a vitamin (keep me healthy!), a correcting medication (fix the problem!), or as an emergency vitamin C pill that I only turn to when I face something hard (get me out of this, Lord!)

Not that it has anything to do with you thought provoking post today….
but I thought I needed to tell you that I was so wrapped up into the women’s volleyball last night (GO MAY AND WALSH) that I freaked the dog out and he jumped off the couch and hid. wimp.

I know exactly what you mean…
But for me it’s more like your peanut butter cookies. I really want to eat them everyday. I start with one and I want more and more and more. I just can’t get enough.
Hasn’t the sky been really pretty lately: the clearly outlined poofy white clouds against the strikingly beautiful blue. What a gift! I think I saw one of the clouds look like a peanut butter cookie…

I know you’re really into the Olympics, so I thought I better let you know about some really big news. They found the body of Bigfoot. They have pictures to prove it. Really.
