Emergen-C

I take a multi-vitamin everyday because I believe it will help me get the vitamins I need to keep me healthy.

I take two pills a day because I am fighting the  high blood pressure that runs in the family and I need help to correct that.

When I feel sick I start overdosing on Vitamin C to get rid of the illness.

I had to ask myself this morning – how am I treating the Bible? Like a vitamin (keep me healthy!), a correcting medication (fix the problem!), or as an emergency vitamin C pill that I only turn to when I face something hard (get me out of this, Lord!)

  1. Hey.. you take the same vitamin as me… funny.

Not that it has anything to do with you thought provoking post today….

but I thought I needed to tell you that I was so wrapped up into the women’s volleyball last night (GO MAY AND WALSH) that I freaked the dog out and he jumped off the couch and hid. wimp. :-)

  2. T – we’re twins!!! (And, it has everything to do with the post – you know, God is a God for everyone :) )

Funny about the dog – yeah, they have had some great matches!

  3. I know exactly what you mean…
But for me it’s more like your peanut butter cookies. I really want to eat them everyday. I start with one and I want more and more and more. I just can’t get enough.

Hasn’t the sky been really pretty lately: the clearly outlined poofy white clouds against the strikingly beautiful blue. What a gift! I think I saw one of the clouds look like a peanut butter cookie…

  4. I know you’re really into the Olympics, so I thought I better let you know about some really big news. They found the body of Bigfoot. They have pictures to prove it. Really.

  5. I thought Michael Phelps WAS Bigfoot! :)
