So Much to Say, So Little Time!
Time is flying by! But I thought I’d stop in to let you know that Starbucks is giving you a free tall-sized coffee if you go in tomorrow and tell them you voted! Here’s their link.
Now I’m trying to decide whether more liberals or more conservatives drink Starbucks and what exactly Starbucks thinks their demographic is.
I’d say liberal because they like to look cool and think the quotes on the Starbucks cups are oh so deep.
I’d say conservative because they are selfish and like to spend the money they earned on themselves.
I’m not saying libertarian. They grow their own coffee and brew it using a complex pulley system.Besides the fact that they live twenty miles from civilization and driving to town for Starbucks would waste some of their mayonnaise-based fuel.

Actually, I would say libertarian, because they take the profits from their coffee and support project of their choice as they see fit. Those projects tend to be liberal, but that’s okay because they’re not forcing me to give them my money, as our Republicrat friends like to do.
And, if we all voted Libertarian, then we, like Starbucks, would have much more of our money to give to the causes we choose.
I meant to tell you about the incredible mileage I’m getting on mayonnaise, by the way.

I hear ya, Craig.
Mike – I’d say it leaves you out in the cold.
No, probably, since you work for the gov’t, it means you’re a nobleman – let’s call you the Duke of Darbyshire – and you’re just a pawn in the monarchy.

I serve at the pleasure of the President, being an Executive Branch employee.

Duke of Darbyshire you are, then! Just vying for a closer spot to the throne, aren’t you?

A&W gave out root beer floats (which Mr. J & I chose) and Krispy Kreme was giving something up too. However, I fear the rumbly in my tumbly – either due to the float or the agony of defeat.

do you know starbucks actually got in trouble for doing that? they were told that they had to give free coffee to anyone who asked for it that day, not just those who voted. this is one of the links about it:
