On the fashion vs. function thing its a toss-up. I can go either way depending on the activity. And sometimes I do what you did and go halfway.

And yes, I would tell you I need a hot drink. Would you still speak to me the next day ?

2 reasons for function over fashion…i am a male, and i live on the equator in Southeast Asia. Fashion ONLY becomes a remote concern for me when it is utterly demanded by protocol. Otherwise, function is the only concern. YITBOP…

fashion, at least for a night out. I remember two years ago wearing new (unbroken in) high heels in winter in downtown Pittsburgh. When the night was over my feet were killing me!!!(this past year I wore flats though!!) But it was worth it. Stay at home moms, at least me anyway, don’t get to be fashionable very often!! Especially when our days are spent at the side of a very humid and hot pool while our children practice for four hours!!!!!!!

You looked mahvalus, dahling!

This is where guys don’t get it and, this is the perfect example. We, females, have various lengths of pants which require various heights of heels, which in-turn require various styles of shoes according to the occasion, our mood, distance required to walk. There are so many variables. That’s why we have so many pairs of shoes. NEED so many pairs of shoes.

I vote for many choices. Lots. You should be comfortable AND fashionable. Muy importante.

I hope this makes sense cuz someone is literally talking to me while I’m writing this…
