My cute boy was also a Star Wars Clone Trooper this year.

Trixie Belden mysteries were some of my favorites. My oldest doesn’t think they look good but I’m going to start reading them to the younger daughter.

Prince Caspian dvd was released in stores yesterday! We ran out to get it. I read By the Great Hornspoon as a child and loved it.

First of all, I LOVE your pictures!!! Second (of all?) the books that were read to me when I was little that I remember and loved are: Swiss Family Robinson, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Charlotte’s Web, James and the Giant Peach, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and there was a wolf one too, but I can’t remember the name of it.

They are great… I just looked on ebay and you can buy individual books … the sets are EXPENSIVE… They are great for early readers as well as entertaining as they get older. I think Andrew at 13 is well beyond them, but Evan still enjoys.

I remember Sweet Pickle books!! I loved those as a kid!!
Also, I have read Narnia 2 times, and we did read I believe 2 of the books aloud (so 3 times for 2!!!) We have seen the movies which are good as well. I gush over the whole allegorical thing too and drive my family crazy!!!!! I just love the whole series!! My favorite book as a kid though, would have to be Harriet the Spy and later, in teens, The Elfstones of Shannara, the first sci-fantasy I ever read and I have been a HUGE fan since!!

By the way, loved the costume!! Where do you find such cool ones??

For me this is a tough question, I don’t see the boys reading are you there god, it’s me margaret… anytime soon. But I was excited when Andrew read through the entire Narnia series and Evan has just recently started them. We have the sweet pickle books (does anyone remember them??) that their dad had from when he was little .. it has been great having them read those.
