Is everyone crazy? There were some very good things that happened in 2008. Brittney got straightened out, didn’t she, somewhat, for her anyway? Angie and Brad had more babies. Actually, there is some darkness coming to light which is a good thing, right? Okay I’ll stop now cuz the music makes me want to wallow in the glass half empty, and I just don’t want to do that…

Unfortunately, they traded Marky D to another team that always seems to get it wrong, so you probably won’t even be able to cheer for him in the playoffs like we could for Greg Maddux or your last Cubs crush (I don’t even remember his name). Oh well…hopefully the trade turns into something good for the Cubs.

And AMEN to bidding goodbye to 2008. It really was an ugly year – much of the bad stuff was self-inflicted, but even so, a great big Get Out and Don’t Come Back to 2008!
