Bleeding Cubbie Blue
And now, for the MIP In-Depth Baseball Analysis of Her Dear Cubs:

*The season is still young. Don’t lose hope.
*I still miss Mark DeRosa. He is probably going to be traded from the Indians soon. Wouldn’t it be nice for him to come back?
*I think the saddest thing about my brother BEING A TRAITOR is that he can’t enjoy the story of Bobby Scales. How cool was it when he hit that homer last night? A good, “in your face” moment to prove he is worthy of staying up. (The other saddest thing about Traitor Brothers is that if they can do that to their favorite ball team, couldn’t they, just as easily, do that to you?)

FYI – The Dominicks in Geneva (right across from the Commons) has a really cool Pepsi display with cases that spell out “GO CUBS GO” with different colored types of Pepsi! I tried to take a pic for you with my fossil of a phone, but it didn’t work. Maybe seeing that would lift your spirits. Then you could run over to the Commons and REALLY make things all better! See, I’m always thinkin’ ’bout ya.

Cool – the kids would want to see that. You’re so nice to think of me and send Cubbie chocolate even! I wanted to get a picture of that, too, for my awesomely in-depth baseball analysis! I will…(I promise it’s not even eaten yet! ha!)
