I’m with Roger on this one. Not that determining what’s right actually makes a difference because nobody in the whole freaking Chicagoland area knows how to handle four-way stops. Sorry, you hit a nerve with this one.

1. If four people arrive at the same time, the rudest person goes first and as soon as he starts, the person across from him also goes. Then the other two.

2. Both go at the same time.

Looks like You and Mr MIP stop driving together so that it never comes up.
or Compromise. Which ever one of you two are driving…its they’re way and the other person has to let it go. It’s not worth marriage counciling… Until munchkin #1 starts to drive.
Also I think Gary Charpman would just advise Mr MIP to let you have the say in this…so that you love tank is full.

Problem 1…if no one else seems to be moving…YOU GO GIRL !! Gun it and surge though that intersection…taking down any little old ladies or children on bikes that get in your way !!!
Otherwise…here’s my analogy :
Texting girl…let her go and get her out of your way..she’s just a hazard (sorry Ashley – lol)
Angry Man…the same…who needs more road rage over a 4 way stop sign…you have kids to get home to and don’t need to be shot in the process of doing so.
Jabber Jaws…not paying attention and might end of hitting you cause he’s distracted
In short…just wait it out and let all the crazies go ahead of you..maybe it’s the Lord’s way of making you slow down and be quiet.

Problem #2: You should both be able to go at the same time.
I might have promoted “slowing down” in my first response…but I’m not about “wasting time” –

So here the thing kelli

Problem 1. You let the texting girl go first because that would be me and you love me lol

And 2. you both go at the same time. Since it is a 4-way stop and your both on the same side, there is no reason to wait for the other if it doesn’t conflict with the direction your going.
