Dairy Good Time

Last weekend we drove down to Indianapolis – and I convinced Mr MIP with all my sweet, sweet charm to stop at Fair Oaks Farm. The Farm is a dairy with, like, 30 million gajillion cows and I’ve always wanted to take my kids there. So we stopped. And we had a dairy good time.

I’d recommend the Dairy for kids and adults…but I’m thinking there’s an age in between that would not enjoy it very much.  There are fun play areas, a bus tour where you drive to see the newborn calves and the cows being milked on a giant carousel machine. There is even a birthing barn where you sit and watch a calf being born. Yep. There is also a cheese factory and a cafe where they serve milk from the dairy, ice cream and grilled cheese sandwiches.

  1. OHH we love Fair Oaks farm!! The only place that has stadium seating where people gather to watch a cow give birth! The cheese is fantastic! Did Mr. MIP like that they had special coffees?? I so love their soup and sandwiches! They do have a fun easter egg hunt in the spring. We bought a family membership it was cheaper to get in that way :) My Mr Fantastic is always thinking :)
