Coincidence? I Think Not
This is a picture of a radio schedule from WMBI back in 1977. To the right is my grandpa, Craig Massey. He was a pastor of a church in Des Plaines, Illinois for a long time, and then started working with Moody doing Family Living Conferences. He and my grandma traveled all over the U.S. doing these conferences.
But, if you look at the left-hand side of the brochure, you’ll see my father-in-law. He was the station manager of WMBI back in the 70′s.
I would have been four at the time, and would meet my future Mr MIP 15 years later. The point is, trust me, I had my parents’ okay on this boyfriend when I brought him home and Mom figured out she used to work at WMBI writing continuity when Jim was there and knew the Wick family. (And, really, the boyfriend before Mr MIP left a chewed up piece of gum on the guestroom wall… something that gave Mr MIP a definite head start when he tried to win them over!)
Small world.

I also see Mr. Malcolm Cronk on the page. You could have been Kelli Cronk!

Those are the things I love to tell non-believers! You can’t tell me that just happened with out God knowing what’s going on!

I was trying to think of something to say about the one who left the gum on the wall, but words fail me.

Speaking of hair… Looking through some of the 60′s fam picts I’ve always thought he could’ve been the 5th Beatle. He even plays a mean ukulele!

Wow, it always amazes me what a small world it is, especially with Christians. But this is even more spectacular than usual, pretty cool!!
