Me in Place

It’s been a long week…all three kids are sick and I’m battling against getting sick (using Airborne, the vitamin mix that apparently works for nobody else). But Thursdays are newly deemed Art Project Day around here. On a good week, I have to gear myself up for Art Day with a deep, calming breath and a good talking-to (to myself). This week I had to also add a mocha.  ‘Cuz this Thursday?

Fingerpaint! Oh, the joy! SuperBoy kept yelling, “OH! This is awesome! I am never stopping!” Either I’m calming down in my old age, or they’re maturing with age. We handled the paint well and made many a masterpiece. Ahhh…sigh of relief. Next week, maybe I’ll be ready to tackle Building Masterpieces with Marshmallows and Toothpicks.
