Christmas Time?

Are you ready to talk about Christmas yet? If you are, you’ll be excited to know that the MIP Family Household has started their shopping!

That’s right! It’s the Chia Obama. Here’s the backstory: Mr MIP was downtown last week and I heard that a radio station was giving these away, so I jokingly said he should stop by and get one. Since his train wasn’t due to leave yet, he had time and stopped by. Turned out, when he got there, he found out they weren’t giving them out quite yet. So he ate lunch, walked around and waited another 45 minutes. Finally they started giving them out – but you were supposed to be in a car…driving up, not walking up. He told the guy, man, I’ve been waiting over an hour for one of those. So they gave him one.So, yes, we got it free, but what price dignity?

I can’t even tell you how hard I was laughing -getting his texts from downtown while waiting around. It was so NOT Mr MIP to do it, that it was too funny. Guess you had to be there.

Anyway, now the question is, who will be the proud recipient of the Chia Obama? Will it be YOU?

  1. I saw these last month advertised on TV!! The commercial is absolutely hilarious (almost as amusing as the hoverround commercial with the ladies on the edge of the Gran Canyon!!) What will they think of next!! Gotta go get my supper now!!

  2. I want a chia Mr MIP! When do those come out?

  3. HA HA HA… my class sings the song ALL THE TIME!
They talk about “BAMAs FRO”…. they all talk like he is their brother… its so hilarious…. Where can I get me one?! Walgreens??? :)

  4. NOT ME!

  6. They are at Walgreens, yes.
Unless you want to wait around on a downtown street until some radio station gives you one. :)

  7. How can you EVER bear to part with it??

  8. I couldn’t believe it when I saw these on TV. Chia thingies have always been a little borderline but usually something nice to fill in the stocking for kids. But, PRESIDENTS, puhleeaaassee, ick. I’ll stick to the sheep Chia. At least it looks like it’s suppose to grow fur (LOL).

  9. i agree with you! they are….weird! but we had to do it for the fun of it. :)
