Faith Crisis
SuperBoy and I tackled his room yesterday. Like, a good, thorough, clean everything tackle. As we were working, he kept saying, “OH! There it is! I found it! Wow! You can really find a lot of things when we clean!”
And, in the middle of the cleaning…a faith crisis – “So, Jesus is with us, right?”
“Yep.”
In a disappointed voice: “Well, everytime I clean my room I ask him to help and he doesn’t. I say, ‘Jesus, please come help me clean this room.’ And he never shows up!”
We talk a little more. Then he asks if Jesus is invisible – yes, He is. “What?? Jesus has superpowers?? Wow! He does! He has superpowers!”

Well, technically speaking, Jesus Christ is the person of God that actually is visible when God chooses to reveal Himself to a person. The Father and the Spirit are invisible, the Son is not.
