First Christmas

First Christmas is done! Mr MIP’s side of the family came over Saturday for our first Christmas celebration (since they will be out of town for the 25th). With six kids between us, it always makes for a joyful day.

And I, of course, caught Mr MIP’s sinus cold and had a nice pressure headache to add to the joy. The sinus pressure made my eyes randomly tear up which made me either look really upset or really touched by the Nerf gun SuperBoy received! Anyway, the day was fun and I’m every thankful for our cool family. Except for Bro-in-Law Cameraman who never gets to come to Thanksgiving because he’s out “on the road”. Now for Christmas he was “sick with the flu”. I don’t know…something seems fishy. We’re starting to take it personally and also are regretting gifting HIM with the Obama Chiapet. If we had known he didn’t love us….

I love how everyone looks so happy in this one:

SuperBoy also had his Sunday School program. Each age group sang a few songs. He was definitely the most…um…animated! But did a good job. Then we went to Mr MIP’s program and he…um….ROCKED! Although SuperBoy was about ready to bust a seam after sitting still in church for close to three hours!

(GG’s…he’s over on the righthand side right next to the teacher. He’s got a orange/yellow with a stripe sweatshirt on.)

  1. Anxiously awaiting your bro-in-laws response. :)

Glad you had a great time, and I hope you feel better soon. XXOO Tam

  2. Oof. As if chest pain and dry heaves weren’t enough…. Thanks for the Obama chia. It hearkens me back to his days at Columbia, or it will, anyway, as the weed hair grows out. I truly feel loved.

  3. Was it coincidence Superboy was right next to the teacher?
