- La Femme Nikita - strange, dark show about Nikita, a woman who has been falsely charged with murder. She is brought into a secret agency and forced to carry out secret “missions.” Michael is her love interest in the show; and brings the only human part to the episodes. The whole series improved as the seasons went on, but still was a bit too dark for my tastes.
- Alias - based on the previously listed show, this show was better (in my opinion) and I liked the character development a lot more. Sydney Bristow is an agent in a secret government agency. Eventually she finds out her dad and mom are involved and that the agency isn’t all that it seems. Michael Vaughn is her love interest in the show. This Michael is more lovable than the Nikita Michael.
- 24 - Season 6 of 24 will premiere in just a couple of weeks. Jack Bauer is an agent who always manages to save our country. Great action, good character development, this show only occasionally gets on my nerves. The best part is reading Dave Barry’s assessment of the episodes on his blog.
- Nero Wolfe - based on the books by Rex Stout, I love this show which originally aired on A&E. Timothy Hutton plays Archie Goodwin and does a fantastic job of bringing Archie to life. The atmosphere and the characters are so well-done, I’m sorry to say there are only two seasons of this show. We’re in the middle of season 1.
